Mike Spano at the pump

Posted by: Liz Anderson - Posted in Albany, Mike Spano, state legislature on May 24, 2007

Assemblyman Mike Spano, R-Yonkers, will stand at a Yonkers gas station today to “push for much-needed relief for middle-class motorists” coping with rising gasoline prices. According to the press advisory, Spano will offer “a three point plan to cut gas taxes, promote alternative fuels and open up the 27 Thruway service stations to E-85 fuel.” (That’s high ethanol fuel for those who don’t talk gas consumption on a daily basis.) The event’s set for 2 p.m. at the Mobil station at 142 Tuckahoe Road.
