Okay, it’s not one of the supermarket tabs that might have Paris Hilton headed for jail on the cover next week.

Even so, Sen. Chuck Schumer is on the cover of a well-read and respected magazine—inside the Beltway.

The latest edition of National Journal headlines him as “The Ubiquitous Chuck Schumer,’’ who Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has described as his “utility man.’’
