This is why we are where we are, and White Plains and other towns have surpassed us. What a shame. I love this town but as long as we continue the electing of "professional" politicians that support each other, the corruption will continue. As I read some of the comments, I am embarrassed for Yonkers. As a city of immigrants, should we not be more open minded about cultural differences? More importantly, why is someone's ethnicity even mentioned? Should we not be concentrating on the candidates qualifications, the issues, and what the candidates propose to do???????? I am disgusted.
