How wealthy are members of Congress? Financial disclosure statements for calendar 2006 recently filed by members of Congress are kept on paper in congressional records offices and are not easily accessible to the public. However, the 2005 reports have been posted on the Internet by a public watchdog group, The Center for Responsive Politics.
