Democratic Presidential candidate John Edwards will become the latest candidate to participate in a New York City speakers’ series this Thursday night.
The former North Carolina senator plans to “discuss the rising debt threatening working families and the many ways we can ensure economic security for our families and strengthen the middle class,” according to his campaign.
Edwards will be introduced by former New York Gov. Mario Cuomo; the event will be moderated by New York Public Radio host Brian Lehrer. It kicks off at 6 p.m. at the Cooper Union Great Hall, 7 East 7th Street, Manhattan.
