It’s a hit in Canada

Hillary Rodham Clinton’s choice of Celine Dion’s “You and I” as the theme song for her campaign seems to be getting positive “reviews”:http://www.canada.com/topics/news/world/story.html?id=13464d4e-490c-4bae-a63e-dc70778ad44 in Canada — and why not, the singer is from Canada and the song was once used in an advertising campaign for Air Canada.

Back in the United States, the reaction is mixed.

“We fully expect jokes about Clinton outsourcing her song—to a French Canadian no less,” wrote MSNBC blogger “Domenico Montanaro.”:http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2007/06/19/229746.aspx.

We also hear that Late Late Show host Craig Ferguson also aimed a few zingers at Clinton’s song choice.

  1. Power of Celine

Don’t underestimate the Power of Celine Dion. Some people just like to criticize Celine Dion for being successful. She hasn’t done anything in all of this – the American people voted for her song! And stop complaining… She might not be American but she has been paying millions of dollars in taxes in the US! With such complaints, no wonder why many people outside of the US don’t like Americans…
