Former Sen. Al D’Amato and his wife of three years are expecting a baby next spring, “Newsday reports….”:http://www.newsday.com/news/local/longisland/ny-lidamatobaby0712,0,6123942.story?coll=ny-linews-headlines

“A source close to the senator describes him as ‘ecstatic’ at the prospect of new fatherhood—he has four adult children from his previous marriage and 14 grandchildren ranging from 3 to 21—and “wanting to tell everyone he sees that he’s going to be a dad again.”

   That’s a fair point, but it’s safe to assume the baby to come would opt for life rather than not to exist at all.

   that was not a comment on terminating the birth..that
   was a commnet on the fathers ability to be with the
   kid as a dad for more than a limitied amount of time

   Yes, I know. My point was simple…the child would rather have an old father who might not be around to see him or her graduate college than not to exist at all, don’t you think?

   the issue is al’s egocentric behavior which is nothing
