In a lengthy New York magazine story this week, Gov. Eliot Spitzer says this about his dealings with the GOP-controlled state Senate and his desire to see the chamber taken over by Democrats.

“There is some virtue in my saying to them, â€ËÅ“Fellows, your hold is tenuous,’â€? Spitzer says in the story.
