I think it will be tought for Ms. Berger. Feiner has created so many lingering problems—how to pay for Taxter Ridge, etc. All we can realisticly hope for is to stop the bleeding.

i hope you are right. feiner is long past his sell by date. he is a problem not a problem solver. now ms berger has to put together a fresh forward looking agenda to address greenburgh’s problems. she clearly will have the ear of the county and the state legislature to help her. no one listens to feiner other than his misty eyed enablers and developer friends.

clearly paul feiner is out of favor with his own
democratic party…they know from experience how
idiosyncratic he has been..he can’t get along
with his council…he is arbitrary in his decision
making, he has kept a political police chief
in place, and he has made sure his contributors
benefit by giving favorable treatment to lawfirms
representing developers…Ms berger is an
easy winner both in the primary and in the general
and if paul even thinks about an ind line
republicans will line up for ms berger just to
end feiner’s quirky career
