Jeanine Pirro for McCain?
One of the more dire moments for Jeanine Pirro’s ill-fated 2006 bid for state attorney general came when Rudy Giuliani, in the wake of the Al Pirro infidelity/wiretapping controversy, cancelled a scheduled fundraiser he had planned to host for her.
Perhaps that explains why Pirro – who has kept a low political profile since losing the election – used some of her remaining campaign funds to contribute $1,000 to one of Giuliani’s chief rivals: Arizona Sen. John McCain.
The contribution to McCain 2008 was made on June 30 and included in the July 15th report Pirro’s attorney general campaign filed with the state Board of Elections.
Interestingly, Mike McKeon, who once served as a press spokesman for Pirro’s aborted campaign for U.S. Senate and still works with Pirro advisor Kieran Mahoney at Mercury Public Affairs, is a member of team Giuliani.

Word is that Liam McLaughlin is now working with Al Sharpton’s National Action Network in trying to find white youths to charge police brutality against the Yonkers Police Department.
Really? Although Liam McLaughlin is joined at the hip with Spencer and Restiano (and Robertson) to cause trouble in Yonkers for Amicone, you might be confusing Liam McLaughlin with Randolph McLaughlin on this one. But considering that crazed group around Spencer, nothing would be surprising.
I seem to have missed something. What does Liam McLaughlin have to do with Jeanine Pirro and John McCain?
nothing..and jeanine can contribute to whomever she
wants..except she is betting on the wrong horse
It does seem odd that Pirro is not supporting Giuliani or at least someone who is considered to have a chance at winning the nomination.
I like how Edelman changes his tune. When Al D’Amato decided to support Thompson, a former Senate colleague of his, Edelman was all but ready to ex-communicate D’Amato from the GOP for not supporting Giuliani.
When Pirro donates to another candidate, Edelman takes a very hands-off approach and says that it is her prerogative. Edelman, what say you (to paraphrase Bill O’Reilly)?
Frankly, who in their right mind would even want Pirro’s support?
As for Edelman, he has his sacred cows, which are untouuchable. They include both Pirros, the Spanos, and Angelo Martinelli. That’s where Edelman hurts himself. He pulls punches and loses his objectivity and credibility when it comes to certain individuals. Otherwise, he’s been OK. But protecting his sacred cows damages his credibility.
