Whether he will manage to overcome them is not known at this point. But can Romney or Thompson secure the nomination and win? I don't think anyone knows at this point. But Rudy might make it as a VP candidate, too. If that happened with Thomspon or Romney at the top of the ticket, it might work. We'll see. I think McCain is done --- and he should be done after his stance on Immigration and lining up with the likes of Ted Kennedy and the left wing of the Democratic party. It's too late for him to have a change of heart on that one, at least in terms of bringing his presidential aspirations back to life. Rudy has a lot of problems and vulnerabilities.
