Rudy’s security team

The Sept. 11th terrorist attacks made Rudy Giuliani “America’s Mayor.” And not surprisingly, the fight against terrorism is a major pillar of Giuliani’s campaign for president.
So, the announcement today of the “Mayor’s Homeland Security Advisory Board,” is likely to garner more scrutiny than it otherwise might. The team is led by Louis Freeh, who served as director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation during the Clinton administration.
Other key members of the team include former U.S. Customs and Border Patrol Commissioner Robert Bonner (the campaign’s chief homeland security advisor), Rep. Peter King.
The 15-member advisory panel also has several former Giuliani administration members, including Richard Sheirer, former commissioner of the New York City Office of Emergency Management; and former Fire Commissioner Thomas Von Essen.

What? No post for Bernie Kerik? Shocking. Just kidding.
Louis Freeh is widely viewed as the worst FBI Director ever. He was oblivious to the organizational, bureaucratic dysfunction that made the FBI useless in the war against terrorists, and imposed politically correct rules which hobbled the agency’s investigations.
If Louis Freeh is Guiliani’s “homeland security” advisor, better run and hide.
