An early shot at Hall

Posted by: Glenn Blain - Posted in 2008, John Hall on Sep 12, 2007

With Republicans already targeting the 19th Congressional District for 2008, Rep. John Hall can probably expect lots of criticism as the House moves through the fall session.

Some of that criticism came today from one of Hall’s potential opponents, Peekskill Republican Kieran Lalor. He released a press release blasting the Democrat for not condeming an ad run by MoveOn.org this week that attacks Gen. David Petraeus.

Lalor, a recent law school graduate and Iraqi war veteran who has not formally declared a candidacy, notes that Petraeus was raised in nearby Cornwall, which is located within the boundaries of the 19th District.

“I’m shocked that Hall has not defended this man who is perhaps the most prominent
person from the 19th District and who has a reputation that is beyond reproach,” Lalor said.

The press release also described Hall as being devoted to a U.S. defet in Iraq and said the congressman has “stealthily stabbed our military and veterans in the back his
entire term.”

“The press release also described Hall as being devoted to a U.S. defet [sic] in Iraq and said the congressman has “stealthily stabbed our military and veterans in the back his
    entire term.

I really believe Mr. Lalor, knows the above statement to be completely false.

    Sounds dead-accurate to me.

By refusing to go for victory (which we are now achieving), Hall is choosing defeat. He is also showing the weakness that led to 9/11.

We are at WAR and Hall wants to make peace with a MAD Dog! Hall is apparently so stupid that he can not or will not grasp the concept that Islam is going to try and kill all of us with children strapped with bombs.

Pop quiz- Who said this…” the military leadership has not just a right, but a duty, to question those who would send American soldiers to war.”

General Petraeus, in his doctoral dissertation. Guess he’s changed his tune since then.

Thanks for pointing out Lalor’s Press Release, I had a good laugh…

Hall was put into power by moveon.org and other liberal internet groups, so don’t be surprised when he doesn’t criticize their worst tendencies.

The best way to get back at Hall is to vote him out of office.
