A Democratic response after Bush’s speech

Posted by: Brian Tumulty - Posted in 2008, George Bush, Iraq, John Edwards, White House on Sep 13, 2007

Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards will offer a response to President Bush immediately after the president’s nationally televised speech at 9 tonight.

The response by the former senator from North Carolina will be broadcast by MSNBC.

“Unfortunately, the president is pressing on with the only strategy he’s ever had – more time, more troops and more war, Edwards said in a press statement issued this morning.

One Response to “A Democratic response after Bush’s speech”

  1. Ethan Edwards

I’m sure this negligence lawyer, who is fully aligned with the left wing, will have a lot of gems to offer. His military expertise is sure to be the basis of a “can’t miss” response to Bush’s speech.

Speaking of the left wing, the NY Times has been outed for giving a huge discount of over $100,000 to MoveOn.org for its full page smear ad of Gen. Petraeus, which ran in the Times a few days ago.

That Times action, which can be seen as a contribution to MoveOn, crosses the journalistic line in a big way, and once again proves the Times is a shadow of what it used to be.
