Twelve-year incumbent Davis has not conceded but said through a spokesperson he will announce a decision on his candidacy early next week. Davis must decide whether to reverse himself and run on the Conservative and Indepdendence lines; earlier he had said he would suppor the Democratic winner.

It doesn’t matter, this race isn’t over until Nov.6th, 2007.

Mayor Davis is still in this race.

Just give up and salute to the winner of the primary.

Under normal circumstances ernie would have done
just exactly that..but the demeanor of young and the
caustic, invective and accusatory language used
on election night should give ernie a real chance
at mobilizing mount vernon voters to think about
clinton young’s character and temperament and
whether they may have made a grave mistake
in the primary..this will not be over until
    november
