Yonkers GOP meets to pick new leader

September
27

The Yonkers Republican party meets next week to chose a replacement for Zehy Jereis, who announced Tuesday that he would not seek re-election as party chairman.

Among the leading candidates in the race, Jereis said, are Steve Levy, the Republican deputy commissioner for the Westchester County Board of Elections; Justin Tubiolo, a party ward leader; and John Jacono, former party chairman.

The meeting is set for 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Ukranian Center on Palisades Avenue.

They could unearth a typical Spano voter
from Oakland Cemetery who would be much
    better than the awful Jereis.

None of the three named seem like lousy
“possibles.” The Yonkers Republicans should be
OK with either one of the three.

Sure, everyone has a favorite down there.
Just keep it civil. This is a good thing.

    AABJ…Almost Anyone But Jereis.

STEVE LEVY WOULD BE A GREAT CHOICE…LETS STOP
BERATING ZHEY..HE IS YESTERDAYS NEWS….AND NOW
HE IS A PRIVATE CITIZEN AND ENTITLED TO BE OFF
THE FRONT PAGES…LET’S TALK ABOUT WHY THE GUARDIAN
NEWSPAPER TODAY HAS AN ENTIRE BACK PAGE DEVOTED
TO AN ADD FOR DENNIS ROBERTSON..WHO PAID FOR IT

    Consultant,

Do drive a Mr. Softee truck off-hours?

What’s this about Jereis? He’s still
the leader until he’s replaced. And he’ll
still work to undermine Murtagh and Amicone
    behind the scenes.

Jereis may be back in the news before long anyway.
Just not in a way he’d like.

That ad you refer to his unattributed. Yes,
who paid for it? There is another full page
ad inside, which says that one is paid for by
Citizens Against Injustice. Is that a real PAC,
    or just a scam?

Ads like that also have run before without
    attribution or sponsorship noted.

Eveyone who should be digging into all this
is asleep at the wheel. And what’s been done
    about that unaccounted-for Restiano money?

Someone better get serious about getting to the
    bottom of these things.

ROBERTSON HAS ADMITTED THAT THE AD WAS “A MISTAKE” AND
THAT HE IS GOING TO PAY FOR IT…WHAT KIND OF MISTAKE
COULD IT HAVE BEEN….THE GUARDIAN DIDN’T KNOW IT WAS
A POLITICAL AD..AND THEREFOR FORGET TO PUT PAID FOR BY
ROBERTSON..OR ROBERTSON DIDN’T KNOW THE AD WAS
GOING IN ….WHICH MAKES IT A CONTRIBUTION IN KIND
WITHOUT THE CAMPAIGNS KNOWLEDGE BY A PUBLICATION
HOLDING ITSELF OUT AS A REAL NEWSPAPER….EITHER
WAY THE RULES HAVE BEEN MAULED..AND ROBERTSON
HAS BEEN CAUGHT RED HANDED ..LET’‘S SEE HOW MUCH
A FULL PAGE AD..BACK COVER COSTS WHEN ROBERTSON
FILES….SHOULD BE AT LEAST 10,000 DON’T YOU THINK
OTHERWISE WHAT KIND OF DAMAGES DID THE GUARDIAN
SUSTAIN WHEN THEIR BOXES WERE SIEZED…NADA..
AND IF THE AD WAS A CONTRIBUTION IN KIND, HOW MUCH
IS IT VALUED AT….AND DOES DENNIS REALLY WANT TO
BE THE CANDIDATE OF THE OWNER OF THE GUARDIAN SAM
ZHERKA..HE ALREADY HAS SPENCER AND RESITIANO IN
    HIS CORNER…THAT IS QUITE A COMBINATION..I MAY
HAVE TO LOWER HIS VOTE TOTAL FROM 37 TO 35

    Consultant,

Thanks for that news. So, Robertson was caught
red-handed. Maybe the comments here helped lead
    to that. If so, good.

This should be publicized to the greatest extent
    possible. It’s certainly newsworthy.

Remember, Zherka is a strip club owner
whose brother Ali is now indicted by the Feds for
drug dealing as part of the Albanian mob.

We’re not talking about a legitmate publication here.

There is more than just this week’s ad. Other
Robertson ads, unsponsored, and also full-page, have run
in the Guardian. This should be made a big deal of.

This demonstrates what they are about. A “mistake,”
Robertson says. That’s so pathetic it’s almost funny.

No way it was a “mistake.”

That “Citizens Against Injustice” should be
    investigated, too.

I don’t know what a full, back page ad in the
Guardian costs. No more than $10,000, I’d guess.

There also was a full page Roberston ad (also
unattributed or sponsored) last week…inside the “paper.”

THE JOURNAL NEWS NEEDS TO FOLLOW UP…UNLESS THEY
    ARE TOTALLY COMPROMISED

  8. A.B.A.

    DOWN WITH THE CLOWN!!!!

  9. Ethan Edwards

The clowns are Robertson and Zherka,
and they will go down. I guess you could
add Jodi Mosiello to that list.

  10. QA

The JN didn’t cover the “mistake” about the Robertson ad in the Guardian which is newsworthy. Compromised? They need the mayor’s race to be a newsworthy story to hype paper sales. Too bad the only candidate is Amicone with pretenders challenging him. It’s going to be a ho-hum landslide. Only risk mayor has is that folks are so convinced Amicone is going to win the low voter turnout skews the results.

  11. Ethan Edwards

That Robertson “mistake” was just exposed yesterday,
but not by the JN, of course. It’s really at least two
“mistakes,” which demonstrates it wasn’t a mistake
at all. That is, there was another full page ad, also
not credited, in the previous week’s Guardian.

Maybe the JN will cover this for Sunday. Or maybe
they are too embarrassed because they blindly
reported about Zherka suing Yonkers without bothering
to do any research on Zherka, strip club operator,
or his brother, Ali, who has been indicted by the Feds.

I posted info about Ali Zherka at least two weeks ago.
The JN ignored it. They also have never written
that his brother Sam, Mr. Guardian, is a strip club owner.

This morning, they also removed my comment from last
night about Jodi Mosiello. I didn’t say the story
was true. I merely said there were reports about it.

I would hope the JN is working to officially confirm
this report about Jodi Mosiello to determine if it is true.

oh, you guys are just angry that AMicone is getting his ass kicked. The Guardian has become a house hold name in Westchester, lets face it. Amicone violated their rights when he unlawfully took their racks, I guess that move confirms every thing the guardian has been writing about the HUGE FLOP. FInally a publication who tells it the way it is, no matter what. GO GO Guardian
