This was the scene last week when state Sen. Jeff Klein hosted 500 seniors at one of two back-to-back lunch-and-a-show events at the Westchester Broadway Theater in Elmsford. The outing was Klein’s treat as part of his annual “senior appreciation days.” That’s Klein in the middle, mugging for the cameras. The show? “Little Shop of Horrors.”

How is this event paid for? By tax dollars or political donations? This is interesting how someone can spend others money for self gain.

I believe this is paid for through a combo of “member item” NY State dollars and Klein’s political donors…

It is indeed interesting how politicians are allowed to campaign on state tax money. I just hope voters realize that throwing cheesy events does not equate into effective leadership.

Yeah, Klein likes to throw events and have his face posted all over the place; meanwhile our communities are getting worse and worse every year in terms of crime and economic opportunity.
