Thanks for the confirmation, Cardinal Barrett. Unlike
certain newspapers I could mention, I only post solid
data, and I really try not to slant my information.

You may not believe that, but I do. :)

Glad to supply a chuckle, Ethan!

Note to the JN- Ethan's got a point, just look at the "Top Tags" in the sidebar. With the font size of each tag showing it's popularity, Hillary IS mentioned much more than any other candidate. Go ahead, even them out.

(Personally, I think giving the GOP candidates more exposure will only hurt them, but the media should be neutral, n'est-ce pas?)

Not bad, Walter. Actually funny.

You're right about the merger of Transit,
Housing and NYPD cops.

But don't cut the JN any slack. The problem
it has is that its editorial slant is everywhere,
news pages, blogs...and not just on the editorial
pages or in opinion columns, where it belongs.

They are biased for Hillary. Have been for years.
That's not a scoop. It's old news.

Maybe the reason that the Journal News has so many Hillary items is because she lives here?

In the interest of equal time, and so that Ethan doesn't go trough GOP withdrawal, here's an item about Rudy Giuliani, courtesy of FactCheck.org...

"On his Web site, Rudy Giuliani claims that he grew New York City's police force by 12,000 officers between his inauguration as mayor in January 1994 and mid-2000. That's just not true. Most of the cops he's counting – 7,100 to be exact – were already housing or transit police who were simply folded into the New York Police Department. The merger of the departments didn't increase the number of police in the city at all.

The actual increase in the size of the force was about 3,660, or about 10 percent, during the period Giuliani pinpoints. And Giuliani doesn't mention that the cost of hiring about 3,500 of the officers was partially covered by the federal government under President Bill Clinton."

Sorry about Bill slipping in there...

Maybe the Journal News is just doing the Republicans a favor by not printing anything about them, since it seems to me that every time they open their mouths, something dumb/wrong/made-up/contrary to what they previously said- comes out.

There must be 3,422 Hillary Clinton items on this
blog. But lo and behold, not a word about the
Republican debate, which is on CNBC live right now,
and will be re-broadcast at 9 tonight on MSNBC.

Surely that information just "fell through the cracks."

Just as surely as Hillary is a really Republican.

I'm surprised there isn't sound with this item, with
Paul Anka singing "You're Having My Baby."
