Politics of immigration
Pace University School of Law professor Vanessa Merton says the dialogue on immigration the school will host Nov. 28 is not the typical panel of “talking heads.”
Jane Guskin and David Wilson, authors of the book Politics of Immigration, will tackle such tough questions as: Are immigrants really a drain on social services? and Are the lowest-paid US-born workers really hurt by immigration?
The free event begins at 6 p.m. on Nov. 28 in Judicial Institute Room 105 at Pace Law School at 78 North Broadway in White Plains.
It is hosted by Pace Law School’s Immigration Justice Clinic, Asian American Students Association, Muslim Law Students Association, Latin American Law Students Association and the International Law Society.

How nice. Another University (is this Delaware?) propaganda issue. The majority of us have to live and deal with the mess you believe is so good for this country.
I went to the website for the book, which is of course more proganda from the new liberal progressive elite.
Have fun talking, the majority of us citizens have already made up our minds, based on our life experiences.
Actually, I believe a majority of US citizens have mixed feelings about immigrants and immigration—which is understandable, since it’s a complex issue and the media and politicians have given us a lot of misinformation and simplistic conclusions.
All of us living here have to deal with the “mess” this country is in-
whether or not we blame immigrants for it. That’s why we are doing these dialogue sessions-not to spread “propaganda” but to get these questions out in the open, talk about how to address them, and introduce some facts into the debate. We welcome anyone who has concerns about immigration to come to this event and engage in a respectful dialogue on the issue. WMD, I am curious to know what life experiences you have had which have led you to make up your mind about immigration. Please come and share in the discussion.
Sincerely,
Jane Guskin
