If what you guys are saying about oprah is true then I suggest she dump Obama and run for the presidency herself. Do you think her congregation will vote for her? It will be interesting to watch.

None of this really matters. If the american public is going to listen it's going to be someone they trust. Oprah has the ears of billions and all she has to do is speak the truth about Obama's integrity and it's done they'll open up. America wants change but we need to trust someone before we make that step. People trust Oprah and her judgement with that said the only thing that Obama really needs is her audience. It's a proven factor that when people listen to the candidates speak Obama pulls more and more each time. Truth, honesty and integrity is what our coutntry needs after so many years of abuse and deceit. Senator Obama has the ability to put us on that path.

Why should I care?

Why should I care?

Girls of fifteen
Sexually knowing
The ushers are sniffing
Eu-de-cologning
The seats are seductive
Celibate sitting
Pretty girls digging
Prettier women.

Magically bored
On a quiet street corner
Free frustration
In our minds and our toes
Quiet stormwater
My generation

Uppers and downers
Either way blood flows.

Inside outside. Leave me alone.
Inside outside. Nowhere is home.
Inside outside, Where have I been?
Out of my brain on the five fifteen.

On a raft in the quarry
Slowly sinking.
On the back of a lorry
Holy hitching.
Dreadfully sorry
Apple scrumping.
Born in the war
Birthday punching.

He man drag
In the glittering ballroom
Greyly outrageous
In my high heel shoes
Tightly undone
They know what they're showing
Sadly ecstatic
That their heros are news.

Clinton or Obama? My money is on Clinton. I just heard of Obama in the last few years. Experience is one of the strong points along with the issues. Obama is a great candidate, but campaigning and producing as President (as we see a lack of in Bush, but lets not compare smart with smartless). I'm Black and when it comes to running the country, it should not be about race but some can't live without it. Opra it doing what she thinks is a good choice and I respect that. A Hiliary and Obama ticket would be a good chance to get a Democrat in office. But noone runs to be Vice President. Bush has shown his unsurpassed talent at ruining a country. . .nobody can top him in that category. I know some highschool dropouts that could do better than Bush. I hope Opra don't have regret (she won't if Obama gets the nomination) since she has been a supporter of the Clintons for a long time. The voters got it wrong when they relected Bush...or did they? When Supreme Court gots involved and they Pro-Bush you know what the outcome was going to be...president elected by court. This is my first blog and it could go on for sometime and if there is someone who agrees or disagree it will widen my horizon because I am openminded to enlightenment......Thanks

Unfortunately race always plays a key role in decesions like this. Oprah is doing what she thinks is right for a person of her race. I think it discredits Oprah a little bit, because most people think oprah is above the race issue, but she is not.

I will tell you an old story, my grandma told me in 1984 that she has not voted in years, but she was going to make sure she voted in that year because a black man was running for President (Jesse). My grandma was white, but the point is she was not coming out to vote for a particular person but to vote against a black man. I still suspect that if a black person were to run for President that you would have white people who would normally never vote come out to vote against that person. I do not think the country is ready for a black person to be our President. I think a black female would have a much better chance then a black male.
These are feelings I get when I speak to the average Joe on the street when they are being honest.
No racism, just what I believe to be the tone of the political arena when it comes to our President.

Ho-hum. Oprah is a far more relevant figure in today's pop culture. Everything about Streisand and Clinton screams "Has Been !" And Streisands misspellings and grammatical errors on her own blog are atrocious.
