Spano returns to work

December
18

Westchester County Executive Andrew Spano was back at his desk this morning, just a few days after having his gallbadder removed.

“He’s looking great and feeling great,” said Donna Greene, a spokesman for Spano, who added that the 71-year-old Democrat has a full schedule today.

On Friday, Spano underwent a what his offce called a minimally-invasive, outpatient procedure at the Westchester Medical Center. The surgery is known as laparoscopic cholecystectomy.

He was released later that day and spent the weekend recovering.

Keep him away from desks and pens! His little mind starts to crank, and each time that happens, it costs us money.
