Giuliani leaves hospital

Those flu-like symptons that put Republican Rudy Giuliani in a St. Louis hospital seem to have abated and the candidate is headed back to New York.

“I feel great,” Giuliani said as he left the Barnes-Jewish Hospital, according to an Associated Press account. “Take care. Merry Christmas, I’m feeling fine thanks to the hospital. They did a good job.”

Giuliani’s is expected to travel to New Hampshire Saturday and Sunday to campaign. In a statement, the campaign said doctors had performed a series of precautionary tests and the results were normal.
