Rudy’s New Hampshire experience
He’s lagging in the polls here and being criticized for not spending enough time in the Granite State, but Rudy Giuliani does seem to have a new appreciation for New Hampshire voters.
“The people of New Hampshire are truly experts in politics,” Giuliani said during a town hall meeeting in Hudson, N.H. “They take their responsibilities of being number one very seriously.”
Giuliani said New Hampshire voters helped him understand how important such issues as illegal immigration and fairness in the legal system were in the race for president.
The stop in Hudson, which lasted for about an hour, was among a series of events Giuliani has on his schedule today. He began with a stop at a tiny diner in Nashua and then a stroll along the city’s Main Street for an appearance at City Hall with the mayor.
