A visit to Nick Spano’s website

Posted by: Glenn Blain - Posted in Eliot Spitzer, Nick Spano on Jan 15, 2008

We’re a bit late in reporting this, but former state Sen. Nicholas Spano’s “new website”:http://www.nickspano.com/ is active. The site, which started up on Friday, is intended as a way for the Yonkers Republican to guage whether there is enough support for him to make a run for his old Senate seat.

Spano states on the site that he has not made a decision about running, but does seem to take aim at Sen. Andrea Stewart-Cousins, who know holds the seat, and Gov. Eliot Spitzer.

“When Governor Eliot Spitzer and Andrea Stewart-Cousins ran in 2006, they ran on a platform that everything would change on ‘Day One,’” Spano says in the site. “I have refrained from making any commentary about their performances thus far but now, I would like to hear from the citizens of our county. Do you think things have changed? Are we being well-represented in Albany? Should I consider a return to the Senate?.”

Yes Senator you should run! Andrea has done just what you said she would do NOTHING! We ca not keep suffering under her. I know you are doing good in the private sector but your county needs you more now than ever! Please run!

He’s right. Nothing in Albany has changed since he was in power. It’s the same cesspool as it was then.
