A growing focus on Florida

January
17

Rudy Giuliani has enjoyed something of a monopoly on the state of Florida lately. While other GOP candidates have stumped through snowy Michigan and, now, South Carolina, the former New York City mayor has spent almost his time in the Sunshine State.

That’s starting to change. In fact, GOP hopeful Mitt Romney, who scored a much-need win in Michigican, just released a new ad in Florida entitled “Chairs,” portraying himself as the only candidate who can fix Washington.

“If you send the same people back to Washington just to sit in different chairs, nothing will happen,” Romney says in the ad. “”I will change Washington.  I will take it apart and put it back together.  I know how to bring change.”

See the ad “here.”:http://tv.mittromney.com/?showid=729524

Giuliani is also about to get some company in Florida from the so-called “Fire Brigade,”:http://www.iaff.org/08News/011608Giuliani.htm a group of former New York City fire fighters and family members of fire fighters killed in the September 11, 2001 attacks. The group, organized by the International Association of Firefighters, beleives Giuliani’s 9/11 credentials are trumped up and they intend to follow him around the state.
