About those poll results in Nevada

January
18

Mark Penn, the chief strategist for Hilllary Clinton’s campaign, seems to be lowering expectations for tomorrow’s Nevada caucuses. In a memo just e-mailed to reporters, Penn says don’t believe all the public polls showing Clinton with a lead.

One reason, according to Penn, is the recent court decision allowing special caucus locations to be set up at certain casinos/hotels, largely to benefit members of the Culinary Workers Union, which is backing Barack Obama.

“Nine caucus sites have been set up essentially for members of the Culinary union, who have endorsed Senator Obama,” Penn wrote in the memo. “Because of a unique weighting system., these sites will count disproportionately in awarding delegates. This should give Obama a clear 5-point advantage starting out.”

Penn later states that: “We have a great organization, huge crowds and a great candidate delivering strong message.  So stay tuned.

“But if the polls turn out differently from the result, there may be an easy explanation for it this time.”

What a horrible message you are conveying! Are you sure you don’t work for Obama? Get out there and fight.

    Fight?

This agreement was made “Last Year” by the Democratic Party. Clintons agreed to all of this back then.

RE: They thought no one else would be running a serious race against the ” Ice Queen”

Further, Clintons thought they had that Union endorsement and these rules all for themselves. These rules were fair for the Clintons last year and not this week.

    Tough Luck Amigo…...
