Clinton returns to New York

Hillary Clinton didn’t bask too long in her Nevada victory. She was back in her home state this morning and pressing her appeal to black voters.

Clinton attended morning services at Harlem’s historic Abyssinian Baptist Church received the endorsement of its well-known paster, Rev. Calvin O. Butts.

“I am decidedly confident that Sen. Hillary Clinton is the candidate best suited to be the Democratic presidential nominee and the next president of the United States, Butts told a throng of reporters gathered in the freezing temperatures outside his church.

Barack Obama, meanwhile, told ABC News that he finds some of Bill Clinton’s attacks “troubling.”

Calvin Butts? Some people will associate themselves with ANYONE to garner ballots, and in doing so, they render themselves unworthy of consideration.

RE: Democrat Presidential Candidates at Black Churches?

This is only allowed for the Democrats?

I mean when a Republican does it I hear threats of lost of Federal Tax Exempt Status for that Church. (Politicking ON Church property)

Every time I put on TV, I see Obama or Clinton on the “Alter” of “Tax Exempted Status Churches” talking politics. Inside of each Church are dozens of TV cameras and reporters.

Tax Exempted Status not affected or brought into question for these Black Churches & Democrat Candidates?

Just bringing up the thought of a “Double Standard” for Dems & GOP thats all.
