Hey Ed,
Jacknis is a professional, not a pol. You can dump on Spano if you want, but there are good capable people who work within government. Everybody’s not Bill Ryan. Jacknis is one of the guys who knows what he’s doing – and there are others – and he’s doing the thing you should criticize others for not doing: leave government, and go prove yourself in business working in a serious capacity for a major corporation. In this, going to California is hardly cashing in on local political contacts.
