Presidential candidates’ forum

January
28

Concerned Families of Westchester is sponsoring a Democratic presidential forum Jan. 31, at the James Harmon Community Center in Hastings-on-Hudson.

Representatives for the campaigns of Clinton, Obama, and Edwards will attend.

Westchester County Clerk Tim Idoni, former mayor of New Rochelle, will represent Clinton. Judy Aydelotte, a Democratic primary contender for the U.S. Congressional seat now held by Democrat John Hall, will represent Obama.

Lindsay Feinberg from the League of Women Voters will moderate the free event that begins at 8 p.m. on Main Street.

Each candidate will make an opening statement and then will answer a question focusing on the organization’s chief concerns: Iraq, Iran, civil liberties, and climate change.

The event is co-sponsored by the Dobbs Ferry and Hastings Democratic Committees and by the Progressive Democrats of America.
