Mr. Spitzer comes to Elmsford

Gov. Eliot Spitzer will be in Westchester County this afternoon for a stop on his “Bringing the Budget Home tour,” essentially a PR push for his newly-proposed spending package.

The governor’s schedule calls for him to host a 1 p.m. “neighborhood gathering” to “discuss chronically high property taxes” at a home on Bryant Avenue.

   One hopes, as he gives lip -service to high taxes, he finds a way rationally to explain why he’s proposed to increase state spending over 5% and to hire hundreds of NEW state workers.

   Ed, what do you expect from a tax and spend Democrat?

   This is also the guy who wanted to give all those illegals
   drivers’ licenses. He’s as brilliant as a 15-watt bulb.

   What is there to talk about here? Isnt it obvious that Prop. Taxes are thru the roof?
