Gov. Spitzer and Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick have made their bet today on the Super Bowl.
Spitzer has wagered Dinosaur Bar-B-Q and Junior’s cheesecake. Governor Patrick has wagered a New England Seafood dinner – including scrod, scallops, and clam chowder from Legal Sea Foods – as well as Brigham’s “Boston, You’re My Homeâ€? ice cream.
The winning governor will donate the meals to a local charity.
“The Giants look unstoppable and Eli Manning is playing the best football of his career,” Spitzer said in a statement.
Governor Patrick said: “We’ve been waiting for this all year and I know our team is ready. Go Pats!”

Right. Reminds me of John Kerry who, when running for president, showed up at Fenway Park, and stated in a live interview that he’d been a rabid Red Sox fan his entire life, and that he had followed the team all year. He then stated that his favorite players were Manny Martinez and Pedro Ramirez.
