perfect timing….now there is no reason for Huckabee to
stay in the race..he has been totally outflanked by
Romney and can only be viewed as a thorn in the side
of the Republican Nominee whereas Romney is now the
team player and my information is that he will be
the vice presidential nominee
Yup. Think the Consultant has nailed this one.
He probably has… but as the saying goes… even a broken clock is right twice a day

Go get the late Fletcher Knebel’s “Dark Horse” (1972) and read and enjoy it this election year. You can find a pre-read copy on amazon or perhaps at a local bookstore, maybe even (hopefully) at the library.
Knebel (“Seven Days in May”) was one of the great political writers of his or any other generation. “Dark Horse” was overshadowed by other of his books, and also by events of the day when it was published (e.g., “The Candidate,” the Watergate break-in, Bobby Fischer’s match against Spassky).
I guarantee that if you like reading and contributing to this site, you will enjoy “Dark Horse.”
