What a disgrace! These idiots cannot even effectively deal with the issues facing Westchester County. Now they want to impeach the President & Vice President. First of all, this is a shameful attempt to undo the 2004 election. Of course, Bush & Cheney have not engaged in impeachable offenses. Plus, we are in the middle of an election to replace them anyway. The Congress ought to concentrating on the major issues facing this nation right now rather this nonsense. It was shameful when Conservatives tried to impeach Clinton, and it is just as shameful to impeach Bush now.

But more to the point, why do these Democratic County Legislators think that anyone really cares about what they think about Bush & Cheney? Rather than give themselves pay raises and get involved in silly impeachment letters, why don’t they work on cutting wasteful spending and reducing the tax burden that is driving middle-class people out of the county? This group raises property taxes every year.

I have lived in Westchester for most of five decades and this is by far the worst county legislature I have witnessed.

The Westchester Democrats on the Board of Legislature are a bunch of delusional sheep unworthy of support of their constituents, who are also sheep in their voting for them. Angry and alienated, they remind me of the former House Democrats who were hostile during the impeachment trial of a certain former president accused of lying to Congress. David Bonior, the hateful former Michigan Democrat Congressman, is the poster boy for their displeasure in all things that our country represents. In essence, they hate other people, while trying to position themselves as “caring liberals.” Check out DSM IV for an accurate diagnosis of our Democrats on the Westchester Legislature. (Better yet: put them on TV so voters can be fully scared by them.)

Come November, these angry Westchester Democrats are going to be quite disappointed. Watch out. The loud obnoxious Democrats here in Westchester do not represent a microcosm of our country; in fact, they are the cancer upon our greater culture.

I never expect to hear the phrases “President Bush” and “intellectual competence” used together again, even accidentally.

It might be worth remembering that a) the Watergate investigations taught us some valuable, now apparently forgotten, lessons about the dangers of a president who aspires to become a king, and b) the drive to even hold those investigations came from the ground up to a very reluctant Congress.
