When will one of these candidates tell us truthfully what they will do for US instead of asking what we can do for THEM? They’ve all become such political sophisticates that they’ve forgotten the central point of the whole operation.

I would never vote for a Republican with ties to Pataki and the MTA. And her choice of fundraising consultants is highly suspicious.

Imagine the fun Democrats will have running against a former MTA executive. The crappy service. The cost overruns. The campaign mailers practically write themselves.

Knowing how Government works, or doesn’t work, doesn’t automatically translate into being a legislator. Let’s see who is interested and pick the best candidate. I think we all agree that Cousins needs to go.

I have met Mary at a few fundraisers for John McCain and she is a very smart woman. She will make a great candidate because she knows a lot about government and how it works (or doesn’t work). Good luck Mary – let us all know when you have your first fundraiser so I can support you.

WELL – IF NICK SPANO DOESN’T RUN – I WOULD BE OPEN TO HELPING SOMEONE ELSE AGINST COUSINS. THE PROBLEM IS – WE NEED TO HAVE A SERIOUS CANDIDATE THAT WILL ATTRACT DEM SUPPORT AS WELL AS REPS AND IND. SOME OF THE NAMES I HAVE HEARD LACK ALL.. RUN SPANO – PLEASE RUN! I THINK HE IS OUR BEST SHOT AT BEATING DO NOTHING COUSINS!

if nick spano is not going to run..the person that does
needs to have high name id and popularity in the district
beating an incumbant is no easy task..if the state committee
is serious about it..they should poll the names they
think might be able to take on stewart cousins

Although I never met her, I just read her bio and she seems like a real person…
