Cheers for Clinton’s Texas victory

Cheers erupted on Hillary Rodham Clinton’s charter 737 shortly before 1 a.m. as the news broke that CBS had called her the victor in Texas.
Campaign staff congratulated Clinton with toasts of wine and beer as the charter jet awaited take off from the airport in Columbus, Ohio whre she held her victory celebration.
It marked a happy culmination to a day that saw her resurrect her presidential campaign with victories in Ohio and Rhode Island.
Clinton is scheduled to talk about the results on the Wednesday morning network news shows.
It’s not clear whether she will travel to Wyoming, where the next contest is Saturday. But her husband Bill will campaign there Thursday.
Bill was campaigning in Texas Tuesday and did not join his wife for the celebration. But her daughter Chelsea did and flew back to Washington with her mom.
Clinton’s campaign chairman, Terry McAuliffe, said he expects the candidate to campaign in Pennsylvania later this week. The Pennsylvania primary is not until April 22.
Clinton spoke to supporters in a downtown Columbus ballroom shortly around 11 p.m. Tuesday.
The room broke into wild cheers and hugs at 10:55 when she was declared the winner in Ohio by CNN on a big screen TV.
It already was a madhouse the previous half hour as CNN showed her closing in on Obama’s lead in Texas and then overtaking him with a 10,000 vote lead there.
Each incremental change has been followed by chants of “Yes she can. Yes she can.’’
Earlier in the night a live band located in the balcony was playing “Hang On Sloopy.’’

Too Little & Too Late for the Clinton’s.
Most of the “Democratic Establishment” wanted the Clinton’s out, as you saw Chris Dodd, Ted Kennedy & John Kerry all backing the “Kid” Obama. A Fight for the control of the National Party with the Billarys.
In reality, last night you saw Dem voters waking up and seeing that Barack Hussein Obama was just a “State Senator” a very, very short time ago in Illinois. Obama was doing Park dedications, Baby Seat Laws and Street namings just two years ago…...
Dem voters sensing now that more “News Bombs” are on the way to Obama. The free ride will be over for Obama by much of the media as Billary is now exposing to all.
Obama is starting to be looked now by many as a “Inexperienced Motivational Speaker” who reads off the Tele prompter. Wet behind the ears….As Billary is doing this now she is exposing to all how the GOP will do the same.
(I suggested this all months ago along with Rudy G. never getting to first base for the GOP Presidential Race)
In anycase, Billary Clinton continues their campaign for two reasons…......
1 – Bribe/Steal “Super Delegates” from Obama in due time
2 – Wait for Obama to “Self Distruct,” having “Super Delegates” walking or running away from “Mr. Motivational Speaker” as stories come out.
This could be bad news fro GOP as all media will have the Dem Primary as top headline as McCain slips into page 5 of the newspapers while this all continues.

Down the road media and voters will focus on Billarys failed promises to New Yorkers….
Here is Hillary Clintons record…..
Clinton promised to promote WNY to Corporate America and bring 250,000 new jobs and economic development into Western New York seven years ago.
Instead of promoting WNY to corporate America as promised, Clinton was running across American since that election promoting herself as President….end result, forgetting those in WNY.
By the time Clinton was running for her second term, Western New York LOST another 25,000 Jobs. 35,000 Homes have abandoned by people who have left WNY because they can’t sell them to buyers. (Source NY Times)
Clinton will be a “Lighting Rod” for the GOP Base with stories like this…....

you know I have gone back an forth on this issue all
campaign….Hillary just seems to keep a commin…
and I believe that Baracks success has really been
at the margins of the party…he has won caucus states
which are not democratic in the general..she has won
the states which combine tradtionally to give democrats
a national victory…NY Cal NJ, Texas Ohio Ariz..
Now here is the issue.can Barack win a general…
I doubt it..with the most liberal voting record in
the senate..and little foreign policy exposure just
becuse he was originally right on Iraq does not give
him the gravitas to be president…and furhte although
as an african american he has done well in the primary
base of the democratic party it does not translate into
the general election where Republicans and Independents
get to vote..so don’t rule her out..the super delegates
may yet give this nomination to her…Lightning rod
or not..if Bill Clinton were running for a third term
my guess is he would be an easy winner
The saddest part of what happened last night is that it will keep Hillary in the race, raising and burning money that might have done some real good.
How much more will she now spend on her self-indulgent campaign? $50 million? $100 million?
and when she loses, watch her disappear. Once she loses, having blown hundreds of millions, will she go out and raise money for real programs?
No, I think she will work on her next book.
Cheers indeed! Now we can look forward to Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack [ ] Obama continuing to beat the hell out of each other for a few more months, and wasting money campaigning against each other instead of John McCain. Watch the Clinton Slime Machine really kick into high gear and go after Obama!
I wouldn’t expect the JN to notice, or to report it if they did, but exit polling showed that 10% of the Clinton voters in Texas were Republicans. Seems that the “Limbaugh strategy” worked to help keep Lady Macbeth in the race a little longer.

the republican candidate is unfit to serve. senator clinton will do just fine and possibly senator obama will do fine as well.
