Just call me Fox. George Fox.

Spitzer allegedly used the name of a campaign donor as an alias during his alleged tryst, The New York Times is reporting.

“The affidavit says that Client 9 met with the woman in hotel room 871 but does not identify the hotel. Mr. Spitzer stayed at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington on Feb. 13, according to a source who was told of his travel arrangements. Room 871 at the Mayflower Hotel that evening was registered under the name George Fox.

“The law enforcement official said that several people running the prostitution ring knew Mr. Spitzer by the name of George Fox, though a few of the prostitutes came to realize he was the governor of New York.

“Mr. Fox is a friend and donor to Mr. Spitzer. Asked in a telephone interview Monday whether he accompanied Mr. Spitzer to Washington on Feb. 13 and Feb. 14, Mr. Fox responded: “Why would you think that? I did not.”

“Told that the Room 871 at the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel was registered in Mr. Fox’s name but with Mr. Spitzer’s Fifth Avenue address, Mr. Fox said, “That is the first I have heard of it. Until I speak to the governor further, I have no comment.”

“Ho” Snap!!! The Clintons must love this. All the news shows that are covering Spitzer mention AND show Bill Clinton’s ” I did not have sexual relations” video. I guess NY will have a Black blind gov. I was totally bumed out when the NFL seeson ended. Forget the NFL, politics is WAAAAY more exciting.

Ahhh my heart breaks for poor George Fox. He gave 10K and he got dragged into a nasty prositution sting that may or may not have involved bukaka, analingus and other “unsafe activities” that many of the prositutes feared were “not safe” but Kristen did willingly.

And the day before in the news I read that a Spitzer campaign donor who gave only 5K got a high level appointment (which he is not qualified for or even eligible for).

Read that and weep, Fox. Next time, don’t be too generous.

The Steamroller should have worn a mask and signed in as Joe Bruno.

Seriously, is this the dumbest unnecessary scandal you have ever
heard of…THe former Chief Law Enforcement officer of the State
who himself busted high end prostittion rings and has therefore
got to be familiar with how they operate and the ways that people
become caught up with the rings, gives his own text message
to book the evening at a washington hotel where there has to
be members of the congressional delegation and their staffs
around, asks for a credit “from the last time”, and simply
acts as if this is the way he does business all the time….meanwhile
he is shuttling 4300 in cash to phony business accounts to cover
    his tracks…STUPID STUPID STUPID..and ARROGANT..that
has been his downfall..and serves as a warning to others in
similarly powerful positions whether in the government or
not…you will get caught at what you are hiding..because none
of you is smart enough not to make a mistake, overstate a postion
or protest too much….Elliot will not be the only steamroller
    out of business this year
