Assembly Minority Leader James Tedisco said he spoke this afternoon with Lt. Gov. David Paterson about possibly Paterson becoming the state’s next governor.
He said Paterson called him this afternoon looking to get his support, if he takes over.
“The Lieutenant Governor called me and we had a discussion about being willing to work with him and the challenges that he would face,” Tedisco said.
Still, the governor’s office said no announcement about a resignation is planned today.

I’m sure Paterson is happy with Tedisco going to the press with this. Nice way to start a new relationship. Some things never change.
