Cuomo Named Sunshine Chairman

The New York Press Association has named Attorney General Andrew Cuomo honorary chairman of the state’s Sunshine Week, which seeks to bring attention to openness and transparency in government.Cuomo last year launched Project Sunlight and unveiled this useful website: www.sunlightny.com“I am honored to join with the New York Press Association during Sunshine Week to underscore the importance of transparency and accountability throughout government,” Cuomo said in a statement.This year’s national Sunshine Week started Sunday and runs through Saturday.
