Advice from the attorney general on paying for college

Posted by: Glenn Blain - Posted in Andrew Cuomo, Andrew Spano on Apr 02, 2008

State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo will take a break from his Troopergate investigation  long enough to visit Westchester later this month and offer some advice on financing a college education.

Cuomo, according to a press advisory from County Executive Andrew Spano’s office, will be the keynote speaker at an April 14th  conference on college loans. The conference is being held at the Westchester County Center in White Plains from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Cuomo, who has been outspoken on the issue of deceptive loan, practices will be joined at the event by a panel of experts who will provide information on financial aid, loans, financing strategies, and being a good consumer when choosing a loan.

Advice: Rob a bank. (Choose one that still has money).

How about cutting government spending by eliminating the Westchester County Government, and lowering our taxes so we have a little money left to save for the kids college?
