Here are two Associated Press bulletins that ought to be of interest to political types:
• NEW YORK (AP) — Two New York City Council employees have been indicted in connection with the allocation of millions of dollars to fake organizations in the city budget. Â
• NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — A federal jury has convicted former Newark Mayor Sharpe James and his ex-mistress of corruption stemming from the sale of city land.

Let’s tell it like it is. Both indicted Council staffers, including his own chief of staff, worked for Democrat Kendall Stewart. The City Council president, Quinn, who allowed all this to happen, is a Democrat. Bet there are more indictments to come on this one.
In Newark, Sharpe James also is a Democrat.
How is that Democratic stalwart Jimmy Carter doing these days? Meeting with the terrorist Hamas leader and laying a wreath on Arafat’s tomb is really another brilliant move by the Peanut-Brained man from Plains.
Poor old Billy Carter proves, in the end, to be the brains of the family. Pass the suds.
Billy Beer had a better head on it than Billy and Jimmy combined. Was Billy also a lobbyist for Libya? Or was that Hillary’s brother Hugh Rodham? They’re about the same, so it’s easy to confuse them.
Hugh’s the one who pocketed hundreds of thousands by getting miscreants pardons from bro’ Bill. Billy’s the Libya guy. Billy was maybe 240. Hugh must be pushing 400 by now. No room in the golf cart for anyone but his eminence. Bill and Vernon Jordan ride together, behind. Then, Bill turns in his bogus scorecard and the other two swear to it. Amazing how some people can lose 23 golf balls in one round and still shoot an 82!
