Paterson To Appear On Radio Shows
Gov. Paterson just announced that he’ll be a guest on some upstate radio shows next week.
He’ll be appearing on Fred Dicker’s radio show (shown, left, on the show last month) in Albany on Talk 1300-AM at 10:15 a.m. on Monday, then doing North Country Public Radio at 11 a.m.
On Tuesday, he’ll do an interview on the The Jim Reith Show in Syracuse on WSYR 570 AM. No time yet on that, but his show runs from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
On Wednesday, Paterson will be on 1370 Connection in Rochester on WXXI 1370 AM. No time yet either on that appearance, but the show, hosted by Bob Smith, runs from noon to 2 p.m.
Paterson is also planning radio interviews in the future in the Buffalo, New York City, Long Island and Utica areas soon, a news release said.
Interesting that Paterson is announcing all these interviews after he was criticized this week for not stopping and taking questions this week from reporters in the Capitol. But today he’s talking about transparency, in this quote:
“It is critically important that citizens of New York State have the opportunity to speak honestly and directly with their government,†he said in a statement. “As the state’s new governor, I need to know not only what issues affect New Yorkers, but how these issues and problems impact their lives.”
