Cortlandt GOP leader dies “after a long illness.”

In an e-mail to party members this morning, Westchester Republican Chairman Doug Colety announced that Dan Sadofsky, leader of the Cortlandt town Republican Committee, had died Sunday after “a long illness.” Sadofsky was 77.
“Dan was a beloved member of the Westchester GOP and we will always be grateful for his service to our party,” Colety said in his e-mail.
A funeral service is planned for noon Tuesday at the Curry Funeral Home, 313 N. James Street, Peekskill.
