CNN declares Clinton winner in Pa.

Posted by: Brian Tumulty - Posted in 2008, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton on Apr 22, 2008

It took just over an hour after the polls closed in Pennsylvania for CNN to declare Hillary Rodham Clinton the winer in the state’s Democratic presidential primary.

Clinton supporters gathered here at a downtown Philadelphia hotel are jubilant, but not surprised. The big question remains whether her margin of victory will be significant.

this demonstrates that Obama has certain weaknesses that
will make it impossible to win a general against McCain
    1. he cannot get working class democrats which means
he certainly can’t get working class independents in
key purple states like pa, ohio, michigan, and indiana
    and missouri
    2. he has a problem with older voters so that means
he will have a problem in florida.,,
    3. he has a problem with hispanic votores so new mexico
    is marginal..

clinton is still the underdog but I bet not too many
superdelegates go over to Obama in the next two weeks
...now it appears that Indiana is the firewall…

The demographics haven’t changed at all, have they? I believe they have been pretty consistent. Obama also is pulling about 90 percent of black voters. They, and many others, don’t vote for candidates for the right reasons.

Very big issues with both Obama and Clinton have been exposed. Those issues will impact whichever one gets the nomination. Yesterday, Bill Clinton even accused Obama of playing the race card on HIM.

Get ready for President McCain. Unless he makes some awful mistakes, he should win fairly handily in November. The Democrats, as they often do, are destroying themselves.
