Balls home town failed to endorse him. They did not endorse anyone. Also, they did not endorse ball the first time he ran either, I dont think.
But...Ball likes this stuff, like confrontational issues, it makes him work harder for power.
Ball needs to be defeated.

Because: he enlisted in the Air Force after high school at age 18, and THEN went to the USAF academy at age 20, thereby completing a SIX YEAR service obligation (not released early) and graduating on time (not 2 years late).

BALL COULD NOT GET INTO THE AIRFORCE ACADEMY WHEN HE GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL SO HE WENT TO THE VALLEY FORGE MILITARY SCHOOL AND DID ANOTHER YEAR POST HIGH SCHOOL TO BRING GRADES UP. HE THEN ENTERED THE AIRFORCE THE FOLLOWING YEAR. SO RE POSTER YOU ARE WRONG. BALL DID NOT GO INTO THE AIRFORCE IMMEDIATELY AFTER HIGHSCHOOL.

INTERESTING ABOUT 100 GRAND FROM GRANDMA. MOM AND DAD MAKE TOKEN DONATION TO BUY GRANDMA'S HOUSE IN PAWLING. THEY SOLD THEIR HOME FOR 412THOUSAND SO THEY MUST BE ROLLING IN DOUGH....AND BALL SAID THEY SOLD BECAUSE OF SCHOOL TAXES. HOGWASH. NOW GRANDMA IN HER 90'S BORROW'S 100 GRAND???????? FREE MONEY FOR BALL IF GRANDMOTHER PASSES, PROBABLY LIFE INS. WILL PAY OFF LOAN. WHAT A WAY TO BOAST HE HAS LOTS OF FUNDS. SICK.

What hometown? Today he lives in Carmel, tomorrow he lives in Patterson and the next day he lives in Pawling, Ball is like a Hobo on the run. Ball's living pattern is like his political life, it is all over the place with nothing accomplished.

After reviewing the pork money distribution list, I see that Greg Ball has forgotten about his own hometown. If that is not a sell out then nothing is.

GREG BALL'S ENTIRE LIFE IS A FRAUD AND FANTASY. HE'S A WHITE TRASH RAT FROM THE PAWLING BACKWOODS PRETENDING TO BE A PREPPY WASP. HE'S MANIPULATED HIS FRIENDS, FAMILY, A CHARITY AND YES, EVEN THE PEOPLE OF THE 99TH DISTRICT INTO PROVIDING FOR HIS LIFESTYLE IN WHICH HE CANNOT SUPPORT ON HIS OWN.

HE TALKS ABOUT GOING TO CONGRESS AND THEN BECOMING GOVERNOR. WHAT PLANET IS THIS GUY LIVING ON? HE BARELY WON 50% OF THE VOTE IN 2006 IN A REPUBLICAN DISTRICT.

THIS GUY IS FINISHED. HE'LL NEVER MAKE IT TO CONGRESS, HE'LL BE LUCKY IF HE GETS RE-ELECTED.

If the statements that you made are correct, why hasn't Ball clarified this on going issue?

When is Greg Ball going to answer the question of why he left the military prior to fulfilling his commitment to the United States Armed Services and the people of our great Country?

When Is Greg Ball going to answer the question of why he misappropriated funds from a charity event for needy children and used it on his Assembly campaign?

I hope people wake up and realize that Greg Ball is the biggest phony on earth and band together and remove him from office, we need democrats, republicans, independents, conservatives and non-affiliated to understand Greg Ball is a FRAUD!!!

The 99th Assembly District would be better served with a person who can actually get things done in Albany.

Funny how the person who posts the same thing over and over under numerous names refers to us as "military veterans" instead of just "veterans". Dude, we know we were in the military, thanks for the reminder.

HOW DID GREG BALL GET OUT OF HIS MILITARY COMMITMENT EARLY?

HE GRADUATED FROM THE AIR FORCE ACADEMY IN 2001 WHEN HE WAS 24, ABOUT 2 YEARS LATE (INTERESTING) AND HE WAS RUNNING FOR STATE ASSEMBLY BY 2005, AFTER JUST 4 YEARS OF SERVICE ON A 5 YEAR MINIMUM OBLIGATION.

WHAT'S UP WITH THAT??? WHY WAS HE RELEASED FROM THE AIR FORCE EARLY???

I'M SURE MILITARY VETERANS WOULD LOVE TO KNOW THE ANSWER.

ALSO, DOES ANYONE REMEMBER THE NAME OF GREG'S BOYFRIEND?

hmmm... seems like greg ball is feeling pretty caged in these days.

ball lashing out like a ratty kid in the school yard calling people names. doesn't matter, it won't remove the truth about ball that will be revealed.

ball will stoop to the ultimate low to hold onto what little power he has. he's a nasty human with a bad history who only cares about accumulating more power. that is more pathetic than anything else i've seen or heard.

Ok, so why, if this is what the local Assemblyman (Greg Ball) thinks of the LoHud blog, is he busy posting on here at 8:53 in the morning???

Greg Ball is the one with the sad, pathetic life replete with skeletons in the closet and the shadiest past and family life known to any elected official in this region.

Don't worry though, all will come public in due time and Ball will be revealed as the egotistical, self-serving piece of crap that he is.

Greg Ball's finally starting to get a taste of his own medicine and something tells me he's not liking it.

Greg Ball was kicked out of his girlfriend's home in Carmel.

Where he is living now is important. If he is not living in the 99th assembly district he can no longer represent that district. Is he in Put Lake? Is he living with his parents again? This needs to be made public.

Interesting news about Grammy's 100k loan. Typical slimy moves by the Ball family to promote their insane son at any cost.

Just wait until Daddy's history becomes public. Oh boy!

It really seems like a small group of insiders who have used and abused their positions are now upset at the emrging power base of Greg Ball. An outsider, not controlled by the local or state powers to be, you feel threatened by Greg Ball's grassroots groundswell.

Sad really..

Just follow Ball around his district and you will see that he is better known and better liked than any state politician around. Folks, from John Hall staffers to Big Boy Robby D. (livin with the rents down by the river), to size 56 and growing Hansen, to Lynne the 'con' Echardt, to 9 time loser Harper, time to go into the sunlight, finally, and get a life.

Robby, how's atkins doing?

Sitting in your underwear, embracing the sad reality of your bitter life, a few nasty souls resort to the lowest medium available to spread your hate and jealousy..the Lo Hud blogosphere. Along with online gamblers, child predators, and porn addicts you share the shadows of a virtual world of sad and lost souls..

Sad really..

Just follow Ball around his district and you will see that he is better known and better liked than any state politician around. Folks, from John Hall staffers to Big Boy Robby D. (livin with the rents down by the river), to size 56 and growing Hansen, to Lynne the ‘con’ Echardt, to 9 time loser Harper, time to go into the sunlight, finally, and get a life.

Robby, how’s atkins doing?

Why would an Assemblyman be comparing himself to Leibell? Unless of course that's his goal and that's all he cares about, power and fame. I want a representitive in Albany, fighting for me. Not someone trying to build power for himself and only for himself. So, "THE TRUTH" is not really the truth, and that's the truth. And to keep talking about that "70%" win is meaningless at this point. It may as well have been a lifetime ago. Nobody cares, and it has no bearing on what's happening NOW.

Ball originally lived in a cabin type shack in Put Lake for a brief period and then when elected moved into girlfriends home. He did have the Put lake rented and maybe he has moved back in and also he had the put lake place listed last spring with real estate for 150,000. So...he could be anywhere and maybe back in his Grandmothers home in Pawling with Mom and Dad. Who cares where he lives? Maybe a tent in a park?
To poster about finances, show us how you come up with 200 grand? Maybe part of that is loan from grandmother as she recently refinanced her home for 100 grand.

The Truth says, “Ball is sitting on over $200,000.” Please show me the proof of Ball having anywhere near $200,000. The last time Ball claimed he reached his goal of $100,000. when the records were checked it revealed that he lent his campaign almost $40,000. to reach his goal and he had an outstanding balance due of $52,000., which left Ball with approximately $8,000. Ball is a fraud and everyone knows it.

Hopefully the Republican Committee in Putnam County will have the balls (pun intended) to not give Greg Ball the Republican line and allow a well rounded candidate to surface and represent the district.

Ball still has not answered the question about his military record as to why he was either released or why he departed early. Ball will have to answer this question prior to this next election cycle, Ball will not escape by running from this question, this question will get answered. The facts will come out.

The Pawling Republican Committee refused to endorse Ball. Keep in mind that this is Ball's home town.

Now if only the Putnam County Committee's would follow suit, Ball would have to get his own petitions signed.

Time for a new pair of shoes greg!

More Ball lies,

Ball was no where near Leibell in favorables in his district, Schumer, McCain and Obama have higher ratings then Ball in his own district. What you forgot to say is that Ball’s negatives are extremely high and he has many people disliking him and his actions.

Ball has always maintained a residence in Putnam Lake (for three years) and has lived there. He never sold his home. He hasn’t lived in his hometown of Pawling since he was 18, when he left to serve in the U.S. military. Anyone can check this info at the board of elections.

Amazing how many people feel the need to talk about Ball constantly? Is it fear, or do you all have a hidden crush? Does Paul Johnson and Echkardt secretly fantasize about Ball?

Do you guys think if you post and lie enough it will eventually become true? The local papers bashed Ball for over a year and he won with 70%+. He is sitting on over $200k and has favorables higher than anyone but Leibell and is neck and neck with him, and above when you compare on issues.

Maybe you can all hope the tooth fairy makes Ball, the only guy fighting the machine, disappear?

Ball’s intimidation team has been busy at work.
•	They will lie
•	They will create facts that are not actually facts
•	They will fabricate stories
•	They will follow you with cameras
•	They will lie to cover their lies
•	Some of them will get arrested
•	They will do Ball’s dirty work
•	They will blog and blog
•	They will attempt too intimidate candidates who want to run against then with bogus numbers
•	And when it gets into crunch time, they will get desperate and do anything
•	They are more dangerous then people think
•	Ball must be defeated.

Not to quibble, but someone in this forum raised a good point: Is it legal to alter a copyrighted NY Times page, reprint it and then distribute it publicly?

Obviously people have created pages similar to the NYT pages with the clear intent to lampoon the paper, and I believe the courts have allowed that.

I would be (mildly) surprised the paper cared about the occasional send-up anyway.

But I see no humor in this.

If the layout or some other text was also altered, it would seem to be the sort of thing many publishers object to quite strongly.

Mr. Risnit deserves our thanks.

Interesting that someone posted that the Dutchess County Rep, party will not endorse Ball. This should be confirmed.

Greg out at a local watering hole? with a new friend? Hmmm.....Pawling is a small gossipy town and if he out drinking, etc., word will spread around quickly.

Perhaps his former lady friend saw the real Greg and got out while she still had her integrity. Too bad for Greg, he had a free ride in lady friends home. haha...funny to be going on 31??? this fall and back home with mommy and daddy.

Let's take a look at the good things Ball has done since his surprise election win................ Well, I can't think of one.

This guy has been rustling the bushes and trying to drum up support for himself the entire time he's been in office. Assemblyman Ball doesn't represent us, he represents himself. His most recent publicity stunt is an announcement that he's sponsoring several fun events.......obviously to drum up support for himself and raise money for his upcoming election campaign. Does this guy ever stop?

I don't care about illegal immigrants. I care about taxes, spiraling food and fuel prices, job stability and the painful price of health insurance.

Now is the time to put a stop to the madness. Let's elect somebody (anybody) who puts our agendas in front of his.

As another has commented, DEFLATE THE BALL
