April

Barack Obama told reporters today that he was “outraged” by the comments of Rev. Jeremiah Wright on Monday and that those comments do not ortray the perspective of the black church.

“I am outraged by the comments that were made and saddened by the spectacle that we saw yesterday,” Obama said, according to an Associated Press account.

Wright said Monday that criticism surrounding his fiery sermons is an attack on the black church.

newsweek poll just out…40% of voters say UNDER NO CIRCUMTANCES WILL THEY VOTE FOR OBAMA…SUPERDELEGATES
    WILL HAVE TO INTERCEED NOW!

It would truly be ironic if the reason Obama does
not get the nomination is not because white voters
would not have been able to support him sans his
reverend..but that because of his reverend he was
made to appear too radical…ie that a fellow
african american made his election untenable..
what a turn of events…Frankly I was quite able
to see him as president until wright entered the
picture..and it would truly be a shame if the oppportunity
for the first black president was lost because
Obama in effect did not mirror and support the
views of his pastor who is himself in the minority
as far as african american church philosophy is concerned
he is way out of the mainstreamm…way out…but
if Obama had any idea of any of the reverends thoughts
he should have taken himself out of that church years
ago to politically innoculate himself against charges
that were bound to surface…even a year ago sean
hannity had the story and obama should have recognized
that it was a time bomb waiting to go off…..so david
axelrod is not such a genius afterall. is he

Just out this afternoon, Rasmussen has Obama over Clinton in NC, 51% to 37%.

however Clinton is now over 50% against McCain while
Obama is one point ahead…she is opening up a
lead…she is driving home her electibility over his
and although I still think he wins nc because of
    african american voters….she wins Indiana
and then they go on from there..but I am now
in the camp that believes the superdelegates
cannot go with Obama..the Wright stuff is simply
too powerful in the general for the democrats
to ignore..they want the presidency more than
they want to give the first african american
    his shot

Is it true that for awhile now about 50 percent in the US have said they would never vote for Hillary? Whatever the exact number, her negatives have always been high.

The Consultant is right that Obama should have left that church years ago. He wasn’t believable today. Not to me anyway. Twenty years in that church and very close to Wright and he claims he is stunned by what Wright has been saying? That doesn’t wash.

What does wash is that Obama wanted to be part of that church the last 20 years, and he wanted to assoicate with other far left wingers in the Chicago area. Now, to borrow a phrase, Obama’s chickens are coming home to roost.

Apparently, and I say apparently because I don’t have the documentation yet, but apparently Obama did a poll in North Carolina about Wright before his “he’s outta here speech.”

If true, this is another example which would show Obama as just a phony. He heard Wright’ rantings for 20 years, knew all about him, and should have cut the ties before announcing he was running for president. The fact that he didn’t says a lot about Obama, and what it says isn’t good.
