Amicone presents state of city

April
30

Mayor Phil Amicone delivers his fifth State of the City speech tomorrow night,  an address to be televised live from City Hall. The speech comes two weeks after Amicone proposed a budget calling for an 8.5 percent real estate property tax and warned  that the following year’s budget could contain significant layoffs. There’s been more bad fiscal news: Police overtime this year will exceed the city’s budget amount by $10 million.
But the mayor is likely to point to progress on the city’s redevelopment front: the public hearing held Tuesday night on the $1.6 billion Struever Fidelco Cappelli plan to remake major portions of downtown. The speech is set for 7 p.m. from the City Council Chamber and will be carried on the city’s government access channel 78 and News 12.

The people of yonkers are so dumb to have reelected Amicone. You know the old saying, dont trust a man with a beard, he has some thing to hide.
The people of Westchester are starting to learn a lot of valuable lessons. We can’t trust any of the elected officials in our county. By far i cant imagine that any other county any where, is as corrupt as Westchester. From Amicone, to Andy, all the Spano’s, Janet Difiore, they are all bad news. The only way we can secure justice and equality is to rid our great county of these blood sucking corrupt politicians. The people have had enough of high taxes, corruption, police brutality, prosecutorial misconduct, civil rights violations. Its time we stand up against the tyranny in this county and start ousting the corrupt and send a stern message, ” by the people for the people”

nancy you sound like Karl Marx..everyone is corrupt
except you and then when people like you get into
power they prove to be exactly what they say they
are not…you are a member of the class that views
    themselves as victims…always the victims…
meanwhile you live in the greatest democracy in
the world…you feel so strongly why don’t you
run for office..or at least tell us who you are
