if annabi is indicted for corruption as the article suggests
someone else has to be indicted for bribe giving, or
some other conpiratorial crime…because you cannot engage
in corruption (barring your own theft from a municipality)
without the person to facilitate it ie the person who
gives the quid pro quo ..which will be the interesting
portion of this whole story…If annabi received something
of value for her vote..from whom did she receive it…
and what was it that she received….those are all questions
that the indictment has to spell out if a grand jury votes
a true bill

Thanks for the tip. I read it. About Al Pirro, time will tell, but he may not be in the clear. If a “New York” name you are referring to is that of an African-American activist, that could relate more to the Milio project than to Ridge Hill. But I’m speculating there. It could relate to both projects.

But if Annabi is indicted, it looks like Zehy Jereis probably also would be indicted. And then someone else or more to complete the picture.

read todays new york times…according to
federal sources they quoted they are “inclined to indict”
sandi annabi…my bet is that al pirro will not be indicted
because his involvement with forrest city ratner was
terminated before the vote…ie if there was any quid
pro quo he was not the intermediary…but I have heard
some other interesting names which lead me to believe
that if there was any quid pro quo it was done out
of new york ..not westchester….

That channel does a terrible job of promoting that program. They really don’t promote it at all. It’s not exactly “appointment TV” no one needs to be reminded about. If not for the Consultant’s note I wouldn’t have seen it. But as expected it was a standard defense of Al Pirro by the Consultant. Al Pirro is a tough person to stick up for.

Missing from this item but not from the article itself is Zehy Jereis, the deposed Yonkers Republican chairman, friend and associate of mobsters, and the master of puppet Sandy Annabi. It was evident from the start that Annabi and Jereis were possible targets.

Many who follow these things also suspected from Day One that Al Pirro’s name would eventually surface. Sure enough. Ooops, there it is!
