A reader forwarded this clip of Yonkers Councilman John Murtagh appearing on Fox News last week with Greta Van Sustern. The show dealt with Barack Obama’s ties to a former leader of the group Weather Underground — William Ayers.
Murtagh, the son of a former judge, discusses the bombing of his family home as a child, which he blames on the Weather Underground. Murtagh, a Republican, is expected to run for state Senate against Sen. Andrea Stewart-Cousins, a Democrat, should Nick Spano decide not to run again.

I didn’t realize John’s family was the target of
the weather underground..many years ago….
its just another reason why Obama is unacceptable
to the mainstream in all parties but particularly
the independents…you really want a president
who consorts with a former radical bomber?
Wow. He would be an amazing Senate candidate.
Murtagh would make a horrible candidate for Senate. Why not have Fleming run too!
The Fox producers must have read Murtagh’s article about this in the New York Daily News one day last week.
I think John Murtagh is an all around Honorable and great man. Just my opinion… Mike
How about that Assemblyman Mike Spano latest scandal? The guy just got handed subpeonas from federal prosecutors looking into the Ridge Hill project. I wonder if WCBS TV is going to cover this. Mikey’s wife Mary is an achor with the network. I hope they’re not sitting on this hot story of corruption and influence peddling.
