Sayegh is a liar. I have seen some of his mailings and his pathetic website. His claim on accomplishments is great… but they are not his. He has taken credit for the work of others. It is a fact that he has not done anything while he was a Trustee. Call some of the board members at the not-for-profits that he sits on… ECAP, Tuckahoe School Foundation, Sound Shore Medical Center… NOTHING. He doesn’t even show up for meetings. Let’s see… the Eastchester Community Action Program (showed up for 1 meeting in the last 3 years); Tuckahoe School Foundation… his friend Yazzurlo (Superintendent of Schools) & Seminara (big developer in town) put him on that just recently; Friends of the Sound Shore Medical Center… let’s see who got him on that… oh yeah.. His sister in law and DeBenedictis (another developer), Paul Luisi Foundation… Mike Martino (former Village Mayor); Westchester Italian Cultural Center… David Pope (his best bud). All these people are on his campaign committee. What a joke. If he were to get in… he would be their puppet but do nothing for the residents. Get a grip people… he sits in the same seat as Supervisor Michael Rights.

What a joke. He did nothing but get into trouble while in Tuckahoe and now he wants to do the same in Eastchester. He is saying that he wants to run a clean campaign but is already lying. He said that three of the current board members were appointed, which is true to an extent. Two of the current were elected in a general election after being appointed and one of the two (Cahalin) ran with opposition in 2007 and won. Would Sayegh be saying any of this if he were the one to have gotten thea appointment? I don’t think so… it’s sour grapes. He is trying to divide a party. Where was he when Steve Ecklond ran in this last Village election. Oh yeah… helping a longtime Democrat who couldn’t get the Democratic or Republican nomination and then ran on the Independent and Conservative lines. Good looking out Tony.
