The Great Spitzer Legacy

May
9

Here’s one way to use Spitzer’s legacy to your advantage.

Democratic Rep. Kirsten Gillibrand, whose district runs through the Hudson Valley into the Albany area, is touting the fact that she was the first member of Congress to come out against former Democratic Gov. Eliot Spitzer’s plan to provide drivers’ licenses to illegal immigrants.

“Washington’s lack of response to immigration has left New York in a hole. Kirsten Gillibrand is working to lift us out,” the mailer says.

The mailing from Gillibrand, who is seeking a second term in November, was released today by her Republican opponent, Sandy Treadwell. Treadwell claims that Gillibrand has helped block measures to toughen immigration policies in the U.S.

Gillibrand did come out early against Spitzer’s drivers’ license plan, yet other Democrats in Congress soon followed and also led Hillary Clinton to waver over the issue during the early presidential debates last fall—the first crack in her campaign.

The pressure from Democrats for Spitzer to drop the plan ultimately led him to do so during a trip to Washington—no not that trip.

That infamous rendezvous to the Mayflower Hotel was a few months later, in February. Spitzer resigned in mid-March.

Good for her. She got on the Ball.

All the new state immigration laws, specifically against employers is working extremely well in Arizona, Georgia, Oklahoma and Rhode Island. It’s a proven fact that thousands of families are deserting these uncomfortable states and looking for a new home. Alas, portions of New York have Sanctuary refuges, along with Los Angeles, San Francisco, Salt lake city and Denver, Colorado. The impact of Los Angeles Special order 40, that has caused carnage in the county since it’s inception. Governors, Mayors and long lines of timid city Supervisors, have genuflected to the agressive money of ‘Special Interest lobby’ My guess ex-Governor Spitzer also had a hidden agenda, by trying to issue drivers licenses to illegal foreign nationals.

Tainted campaign contributions have intentionall written off the demands of citizens and legal residents. Unlike anti-illegal immigration groups who have depended on patriotic funding. The rhadical entities like La Raza (the Race) and a whole conclomeration of organizations Who want to keep our borders wide open, enact a massive AMNESTY and promote the globalist agenda of the free movement of cheap labor throughout the North American Continent are supported by the corporate money machine and underhand grants from our own governments. The suppressed news that is not apparent in the national press, can be found at NUMBERSUSA, LIBERTY POST, AMERICAN PATROL, UNIPAC. When jobs, mortgages, savings and pensions are on the line, you should judge what you want for you familes future.

Keep calling your Congressmen today to co-author THE SAVE ACT! KEEP CONSTRUCTING THE FENCE! Toll free numbers include 18778516437 and 18662200044, or 12022243121 AND REGISTER YOUR OUTRAGE at ongoing efforts to keep our country from enforcing its immigration laws!

Remember tainted Democrats are obstructing this laws enactment, knowing full-well of the new AMNESTY that will be forced upon us after the new president takes office.

i’m not entirely sure why gillibrand would invoke such a legacy for her campaign. the whole thing makes one weary of voting for the dems. political scandals aside, i don’t believe that what brittanicus says would work.

the arizona legislature enacted laws aimed at driving immigrants out, and now they’re trying to bring them back to arizona through a statewide guestworker program: http://www.azstarnet.com/metro/224155

what we need is a workable solution that’s not just the same malarkey that we’ve tried over and over that just doesn’t work. pouring money into tearing families apart, and building virtual fences that don’t work isn’t going to cut it.
